1.  Henry C. Echiverri, MD
Outstanding UP Alumnus in Medicine & Alumni Service
Dr. Echiverri was instrumental in the creation of the current UPMASA website and led the formation of the UPMASA Auxiliary to expand membership and engagement. He helped establish the National Reserve and Legacy Fund, now the Millennium Legacy Fund, a $2M initiative supporting flagship and emergency projects, operational needs, and UPMASA’s expanding role alongside UP College of Medicine and PGH. He has also provided compassionate care through decades of medical missions in the Philippines and continues to contribute to stroke treatment and research.

2. Anita Ortega Jongco, MD
Outstanding UP Alumnus in Humanitarian Leadership
Dr. Jongco has dedicated nearly 30 years to improving health outcomes in the Philippines through UPMASA. She currently leads the Dr. Mars Custodio Memorial HIV Fund Project, which provides HIV testing and treatment access at PGH amid the country’s rapidly growing epidemic. She served as Chair of the UPMASA Medical Missions Committee and has taken part in over two decades of medical missions. Through mentorship efforts like the Peers’ Project, she supports the next generation of physicians with unwavering dedication.

3. Ishwar J. Gopichand, MD
Outstanding UP Alumnus in Philanthropy and Alumni Leadership
Dr. Gopichand has combined clinical excellence with extraordinary philanthropy. He led the Ad Hoc Committee for the Medical Science Building, shaping the development of UP Manila’s state-of-the-art Henry Sy Sr. Medical Science Building. He has supported disaster relief, digital education initiatives, scholarship programs, and campus infrastructure at UP and Silliman University. His enduring message of service: "Para sa Inyong Lahat Ito."
